Controversy as Barcelona defeat Chelsea on away goals

A dramatic injury time strike from Andres Iniesta sent ten-men Barcelona into the Champions League final, in a 1-1 draw at the expense of Chelsea.

After nine minutes Stamford Bridge was rocking as Chelsea took the lead as Michael Essien's volley crashed into goal from the underside of the bar.

The Blues continued to dominate for the first half but failed to add to their lead.

The second half was much of the same and Chelsea seemed destined to meet Manchester United in the final when Barcelona had Eric Abidal harshly sent off for tripping Nicolas Anelka on 60 minutes.

The Blues also had four strong penalty appeals turned down by Norwegian referee Tom Henning Ovrebo.

But with Barca's first shot of the game Iniesta dumped Chelsea out of the Champions League semi-final's on away goals provoking chaotic scenes at the final whistle which could have repercussions from UEFA.

Chelsea striker Didier Drogba labelled the referee "disgrace" and needed restraining by stewards and his boss Guus Hiddink at the end of the game.

The Ivory Coast frontman approached the referee after the game, then turned to the television camera, shouting that the official was a "f****** disgrace".
