West Brom have had an £800,000 offer accepted by Dutch outfit NEC Nijmegen for central defender Jonas Olsson.

The fee for the former Sweden Under-20 and Under-21 international could rise by a further £360,000 in performance-related add-ons.

The 25 year old is renowned for being a tough-tackling defender, good in the air and comfortable on the ball.
