West Brom boss Tony Mowbray admits he may send new signing Graham Dorrans away on-loan.

"Graham is a young boy who is excited about being here," Mowbray told the WBA website. "He's is jumping from Livingston in the Scottish First Division to come to the Premier League.

"It's a huge, huge step. He could surpass all my expectations. But my expectation is that he comes through pre-season with us and gets used to the demands.

"Then if he does well enough in some of the games he might go out on loan to play some football. If not, he'll play in our reserves against some top Premier League reserve teams and develop that way.

"He's one of hopefully a few players we'll have of that type - young players that are not quite ready yet and don't have the experience but have the talent. We can help them develop so they will be good enough in the future to be Premier League players."
