Antonio Conte is back in football at Siena.
The former Bari coach was installed as new Siena boss yesterday.
Ex-Juventus star Conte has now signed a two-year contract and hopes to bring Robur back into the top flight.
"I immediately decided I wanted to come to Siena, right from my first meeting with President Massimo Mezzaroma," said Conte.
"I was enthused by his words, the choice of a great director of sport like Giorgio Perinetti and the opportunity to return to an environment I had already been able to appreciate."
It is a comeback, as Conte started his management career as the assistant to Luigi De Canio in 2005-06.
"I am marrying an ambitious project, aware of what awaits me and the expectations of the club. It'll be a lot of work to take Siena back where they belong.
"I am convinced we have everything we need to take centre stage once more."
