Columbus Crew forward Dominic Oduro has been named the MLS Player of the Month for September.
The 28-year old Ghanaian scored three goals in five outings during the ninth month of 2013 and his efforts have been rewarded by the North American Soccer Reporters (NASR).
Oduro, who also provided two assists, had three match-winning goals as the Crew produced a 4-0-1 record to move up to sixth in the Eastern Conference.
Oduro scored go-ahead goals in the 2-1 win at Montreal Impact, the 3-0 victory over Chicago Fire and the third-goal in the weekend's 4-2 triumph away to FC Dallas.
The award caps off a good week for Oduro who was also named MLS Player of the Week for Week 31 of the 2013 season.
