Major League Soccer outfit the Columbus Crew has renewed deals with a host of corporate partners, reports SportsPro. OhioHealth has renewed as the official healthcare provider and sports medicine provider of the Columbus Crew, Columbus Crew Stadium and Ohio South Youth Soccer Association.
The health organisation's deal includes support of the team's numerous youth and community outreach programmes. Crew goalkeeper Andy Gruenebaum will serve as the official Crew spokesman of OhioHealth.
Anheuser-Busch has extended as the exclusive domestic beer of the Columbus Crew and Crew Stadium. The renewal includes additional signage around the stadium and sponsorship of the team's pub tour and celebrity bartender nights.
Cardinal Health has become the presenting sponsor of the club's Corporate Cup, a one-day soccer tournament for local companies, and will support the team's youth projects.
Non-profit organ, eye and tissue donation awareness organisation Lifeline Ohio has also renewed its backing of the Crew's community outreach initiatives.
Meanwhile, lawn and garden product brand Scotts Miracle-Gro has signed a new deal which includes naming rights to the Field Seats hospitality area - to be known as The Scotts Field Seats - and local racecourse Scioto Downs Racino has agreed a new sponsorship which will see it receive in-stadium signage and advertising exposure online.
