Colorado Rapids striker Omar Cummings has put his family plans on hold to win a deal at Aston Villa.
His wife Viola will have to make do with sweet nothing rather than sweet nothings while her man is away on trial at Villa Park.
Cummings said: "I just finished the Caribbean Cup with Jamaica and I was heading back home when my agent called to say there was a possible loan deal with Villa.
"I was really looking forward to some time off but with an opportunity like Villa you don't say no.
"One of the most important things I have had to put off is that my wife was trying to get pregnant.
"We've had to put that on hold for a little bit but she understands. She is very supportive."
