Colorado Rapids, MLS name six young guns for reality TV show Sueno

Major League Soccer and the Colorado Rapids announced today the names of five talented young field players and one "Good Hands©" top goalkeeper - El Portero Allstate finalist who will represent the club at the National Final of Sueño MLS 2014- Presented by Allstate.

The nationally-televised player search is showcased on Univision Network's República Deportiva, the popular weekly Spanish-language sports show that chronicles the tryouts in a "reality show within a show" format.

The six Colorado Rapids Finalists are:

Alejandro Alaniz - Midfielder, 16 - Gardena, CA Oscar Aragon - Defender, 16 - Magnolia, TX Jesus Arredondo - Midfielder, 15 - Denver, CO Ernesto Galvan - Goalkeeper, 15 - Commerce City, CO Luis Loera - Midfielder, 15 - Albuquerque, NM Gilberto Tovar - Defender, 17 - Garden City, KS

Now in its eight year, Sueño MLS 2014 - Presented by Allstate is being staged by three Major League Soccer teams, including the Colorado Rapids, LA Galaxy, and for the first time New York Red Bulls.

Up to 400 tryout spots are made available in each city on a first come, first served basis. Hopefuls can register at www.SuenoMLS.com
