Colorado Rapids are being heavily linked with Uruguayan striker Vicente Sanchez.
The 33-year old Nacional attacker has emerged as a transfer target for the Rapids according to media outlets in Miami and South America.
South Florida's ESPN radio program Raza Deportiva has suggested the potential move for former Toluca and Schalke star Sanchez whilst Uruguayan press Ovacion, El Diario and LaRed21 have also reported that the player and his current club have failed to agree a new deal.
Sanchez even said on Uruguayan radio that he could be on his way out from Nacional: "I'm going abroad, there's no turning back. I waited over 25 days for them to call me to talk, I don't expect any more, and I gave my word and I'm going."
