Colorado Rapids have confirmed their disappointment at losing Sanna Nyassi in the 2011 MLS Expansion Draft.
Incoming franchise Montreal Impact selected the Gambian winger meaning he will be on his way out of Dick's Sporting Goods Park 12 months after he joined from Seattle Sounders in the 2010 Expansion Draft.
"Sanna was best used when he got the freedom to improvise and really express himself playing at that forward position," technical director Paul Bravo told MLSsoccer.com. "It is bitterly disappointing [to see him go], but we have these rules we have to live by.
"While we didn't want to lose him or any of our other players, it's part of the Expansion Draft process."
