Mexican outfit Estudiantes Tecos are on the trail of Colorado Rapids striker Omar Cummings.
The 28-year old Jamaica international was a key contributor to the Rapids' 2010 MLS Cup triumph, scoring 14 goals for the season, and has now appeared on the radar of the Primera Division club.
Tecos coach José Luis Sánchez Solá told informador.com that Cummings would be a welcome addition to the club, especially as Paraguayan striker Fredy Bareiro is on his way out.
" I have a hole for a foreigner. I have foreigners here, (but) they are ours and they are under contract," he said.
"It has to come from there (the MLS), hence I like it, hence we have the tickets because (going to) another market is very complicated."
