James Collins will now undergo a medical with West Ham United as his transfer from Aston Villa looms closer.
The Welsh centre-back is set to return to Upton Park after leaving for Villa in 2009 after the Hammers agreed a fee with the West Midlands outfit, believed to be in the region of £4million
Sky Sports reports that Collins will now have a medical in East London with his permanent transfer to West Ham set to complete this week as Villa get set to sign Dutch defender Ron Vlaar from Feyenoord.
