Coleman can see Swansea's Laudrup in frame for Man Utd, Chelsea jobs

Wales coach Chris Coleman can see Swansea City boss Michael Laudrup emerging as a candidate for Manchester United and Chelsea.

The Dane has been a revelation with the Swans this season.

Coleman told The Sun: If you are in football and never heard of Michael Laudrup, then you don't know what you are talking about.

"On top of that profile, he is a good manager who plays lovely football. The type of football that the top clubs like to play.

"I don't think he'd be having many thoughts about Manchester United because anyone who is being touted for that job will need to have a few European Cups on their back.

"That is the biggest job in football. Michael is a bright manager, but being linked with the Manchester United job is something a bit different.

"As for the next permanent Chelsea manager? If it is not Rafa Benitez, then who is it going to be? Michael Laudrup? His brother was there as a player, albeit for a short time.

"If it is not going to be Rafa, then they might look at someone like Michael if the season finishes like it started or he has another season like this.

"If that does happen, then Swansea might be thinking about getting ready to replace another good manager."
