Joe Cole could make a Liverpool return in the Europa League this week.

Cole could feature in Liverpool's Europa League squad for Thursday's match against Udinese after marking his return to action with a goal.

Cole, 30, out for six weeks with a hamstring problem sustained on the opening day of the campaign at West Bromwich Albion, played 59 minutes for Liverpool's reserves on Monday and scored the opening goal in a 3-0 win over Fulham.
