Joe Cole broke down on his big night for Liverpool at FC Gomel.

Cole, who spent last season on loan at Lille, lasted just 23 minutes before picking what looked like a hamstring injury.

Glen Johnson was also replaced a minute into the second half, but Rodgers was quick to downplay any injury fears.

"The substitution of Glen was planned and as for Joe the injury is not serious and more of a precaution," Reds boss Brendan Rodgers said after the 1-0 Europa League win.
