Colback happy playing for O'Neill at Nottingham Forest

Newcastle United midfielder Jack Colback is happy playing for Martin O'Neill at Nottingham Forest.

Colback is on-loan at Forest to the end of the season.

He told the Nottingham Post: "Our relationship is good, I had a good experience with him at Sunderland.

“When he came in there, we really hit the ground running and I have some good memories from that.

“In the second season we were not doing too badly, but that is the nature of the beast. If you lose a few games in the Premier League, managers soon get put under pressure.

“With Martin, what you see is what you get. He is straight to the point.

“There have been times when we have not been good enough and he has said that. It is good to hear that, when the team has made mistakes or things need pointing out, he will do that.

“He is trying to get a feel good factor around the place and he has laid out why he has come here.

“Now it is down to us to go and grasp the opportunity."
