Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas will have to talk down Fabio Coentrao's personal demands to land the Real Madrid fullback.

AVB hopes to sign the Portugal fullback on-loan in January, but his £100,000 a week contract could prove a problem.

Coentrao will have to accept a pay-cut if he is to join Spurs, with his current wages unlikely to be accepted by chairman Daniel Levy.
