Juventus president Giovanni Cobolli Gigli insists midfielder Antonio Nocerino remains part of their long-term plans.

Nocerino has been linked with Napoli and Palermo, but Cobolli Gigli said: "I have seen Nocerino among the best of Juventus' players, but we have others as well.

"He was a relatively early discovery of Claudio Ranieri's in this championship and the coach continues to demonstrate his estimation of the lad by playing Nocerino in important matches."
