Stoke City chairman Peter Coates is pleased with their record in the transfer market.
He said the club had performed well in the transfer market during the four windows since Mark Hughes first took charge two years ago after attracting the likes of Bojan, Mame Diouf, Stephen Ireland, Peter Odemwingie and Marko Arnautovic.
"Nothing is ever perfect in these things, but I think we've done pretty well so far and we are pleased with what we've managed," he observed.
"We believe we have recruited well and I don't think anyone can argue that we now have a better squad than 12 months ago. But obviously you have to keep on trying to make that improvement."
