Stoke City chairman Peter Coates is happy Ricardo Fuller stayed at the Brit.
Fuller came close to joining Sunderland in the final days of the winter market.
Coates told The Sentinel: "We wouldn't have let both Tuncay and Ricardo Fuller go unless we were confident we could bring someone in of the right quality. Now hopefully Ricardo will play well for us for the rest of the season.
"I am a huge fan of Ricardo Fuller. We have never had a player like him; a big, strong powerful man who has pace and strength and fantastic control. He is a terrific player."
