Eddie Howe was pleased with Nathaniel Clyne's contribution to Bournemouth this season.
The fullback made 15 appearances for the Cherries after joining from Liverpool on loan in January.
Howe told the Daily Echo: “I really like Nathaniel. I think he's done really well for us.
“He came in at a time when we were really keen to just give the squad a boost with the injuries we had suffered.
“We obviously needed defenders at that stage of the season.
“I think the signings of him and Chris Mepham were huge for us."
Asked if it could turn into a permanent move for Clyne, Howe added: “He's shown versatility.
“He's played different positions and he's been very good around the changing room so we'll wait and see on that one."
