A Mario Gomez treble ahs helped fire Bayern Munich to a comfortable 4-0 win over Romanian outfit CFR Cluj-Napoca in Group E of the Champions League.
The Germany international tapped home a loose ball in the 12th minute to get things started before doubling the advantage just over ten minutes later when he stabbed home after a Bastian Schweinsteiger header found him unmarked.
Gomez completed the feat with 20 minutes remaining when he swept home a Schweinsteiger cross from the right before Thomas Mueller got in on the act by grabbing a fourth for Bayern in the final minute.
The win allows Bayern to qualify for the Round of 16 with four wins from four group stage matches whilst Cluj remain second bottom on three points.
