West Bromwich Albion boss Steve Clarke admits his summer transfer plans will hinge on what Chelsea do with Romelu Lukaku.

Lukaku's form means there is the increasing prospect of Chelsea wanting him available for their first team next season.

But Clarke has not given up hope.

"Next year is a different year," he said.

"You have to wait and see who strengthens in the summer, wait and see how we can develop our squad and we have to try and keep Romelu."
