Aston Villa midfielder Ciaran Clark hopes they can keep hold of Darren Bent.

Bent has been linked with Liverpool in recent weeks.

Clark said: "We need players to finish off chances.

"Darren's one of the best finishers in the league. His statistics bear that out. He's a natural. I was here last season and he scored a lot of goals which helped us out of a sticky situation."
