Claims of Liverpool midfielder Gini Wijnaldum agreeing terms with Barcelona have been denied.

The Sunday Times has stated Wijnaldum has settled on a pre-contract with Barca, but local outlets RAC1 and the Cadena SER have rubbished the claims.

Instead, Wijnaldum remains available as his contract winds down.

PSG are also interested in the Holland international, while Barca are keen. However, a move for the midfielder is being reconsidered by the Catalans.

The emergence of Ilaix Moriba and Riqui Puig has raised concerns that Wijnaldum's arrival would stunt their progress.
