Ex Fiorentina striker Christian Vieri made his debut for Atalanta in yesterday's 2-1 loss. Vieri, who joined Atalanta following a free transfer from the Tuscan club, started on the bench and entered the action with 20 minutes remaining.

"It was positive to have Christian Vieri back," said Atalanta boss Luigi Del Neri, who went into the clash with a depleted playing list hit with injury and suspension.
