Aston Villa striker Christian Benteke was delighted to prove the matchwinner in victory over Reading.
The powerful Belgium striker has already struck up a good rapport with Agbonlahor and the club's other forwards.
And he believes this has been an important part of his early success.
"I am settling very well," Benteke told Villa's website. "I have been here two or three months now and I think everything is going to be okay.
"I think the relationship I have with Gabby on the pitch is very good, but not only with him. It is good with all of the players as well - I think it is the same for Andi, for Ashley, for Barry.
"I think everybody stuck together on Tuesday night because it was very important. I think we kept on going to the end and that was good.
"We deserved to win and everybody is happy to take the three points."
