Danish ace Andreas Christensen, who is currently on loan at Borussia Monchengladbach from Chelsea, wants to stay at the Bundesliga club, according to The Sun.

The 19-year-old joined Gladbach in a two-year loan deal last summer, but reports have suggested that the West London club plan to recall him next season, as they prepare for life without John Terry.

However, the centre-back, who can also be deployed at full-back, is reluctant to return to Stamford Bridge as he expects to get more playing time at the Bundesliga club.

Christensen has made 24 league appearances for Gladbach this season.
