Chivas USA make coaching appointments

Chivas USA have made three new coaching appointments to work with head coach Martin Vasquez who was installed in December.

Carlos Juarez, Nick Theslof and Daniel Gonzalez have joined current assistant coach Carlos Llamosa as the men who will forge a working relationship with Vasquez and attempt to taste success with Chivas.

Juarez is an ex-teammate of Vasquez's from their California State days and the pair have worked together at Cal Poly Pomona and with the WUSA's San Diego Spirit.

Theslof worked with Vasquez when they were both under Jurgen Klinsmann at German giant Bayern Munich and has most recently coached Orange County Blue Star of the Premier Development League from 2002-2007.

Argentine Gonzalez was the goalkeeping coach at the Colorado Rapids from 2000-2003.
