Ching opts against retirement to saddle up with Montreal Impact

Houston Dynamo legend Brian Ching will not retire from the game but will instead report to Montreal Impact training.

The 33-year old striker was left unprotected by the Dynamo in the 2011 MLS Expansion Draft and was snapped up by incoming franchise the Impact ahead of the 2012 season.

Ching was unsure of his next movements after Impact's selection as he did not want to play for anyone but the Dynamo, however, he has confirmed he will now head to Montreal to see what lies ahead for him.

"I've decided I'm not going to retire," Ching said. "I'll report to Montreal when camp opens."
