Sporting Kansas City have added Chilean goalkeeper Luis Marin to their squad ahead of the 2015 MLS season.
The 31-year old gloveman joins SKC on an international roster spot for the 2015 after most recently playing with Universidad de Chile in his homeland's top flight.
Eight-time Chile international Marin arrives at Sporting Park following the departures of Eric Kronberg and Andy Gruenebaum and will an apt replacement for the pair according to head coach Peter Vermes.
"Luis is a goalkeeper with a wealth of experience and leadership," Vermes said in a statement.
"He knows our team and the tasks that lie ahead for him and he is raring to go to take the challenges head-on."
Former Union Espanola and O'Higgins shot-stopper Marin added: "I am excited to join Sporting Kansas City and take the next step in my career.
"I'm going to do everything I can to help this team win another championship."
Marin joins Hungarian striker Krizstian Nemeth in Kansas City on what was a busy day for the two-time MLS Cup winners.
