Despite a host of Spanish Liga clubs chasing his signature, Arsenal striker Carlos Vela could be on the move to Italy.

The Sun says Chievo Verona are moving for Vela.

The Mexican, 21, has struggled to nail down a first-team spot since signing for the Gunners in 2005.

And with Arsene Wenger bringing in Andrey Arshavin and Marouane Chamakh, Vela has fallen further down the pecking order.

Chievo Verona hope to finalise a deal next month.
