Chicharito: Real Madrid must learn from Juventus defeat

Real Madrid striker Javier Hernandez admits they're shocked after defeat at Champions League opponents Juventus.

Alvaro Morata and a Carlos Tevez penalty saw Juve beat Real Madrid 2-1 in the first-leg of their semifinal. Cristiano Ronaldo pulled one goal back for the visitors.

"The feeling is negative because we lost the game. We fought until the end but still left with a one-goal deficit," said Chicharito.

"We have to remain calm and use this [defeat] as a learning curve because there's no small teams left in this competition.

"The Coach asked us to show character and did what we'd done in the League. [Juve] had a great game and now we have to try to win the return match.

"I've always said that you have to respect every decision [made by the Coach], but no player likes sitting on the bench.

"From [Wednesday], we have to swallow this [result] and start thinking about Valencia, who are also fighting for the League."
