Chicago Fire have taken Brazilian striker Maicon Santos in the MLS Re-Entry Draft.

In four MLS seasons Santos has scored 21 goals and added eight assists.

"We are pleased to add Maicon Santos to our roster ahead of the 2013 season," President of Soccer Operations Javier Leon said. "Maicon is a talented forward who brings with him a scoring touch and MLS experience."

In 2012, Santos appeared in 26 games for D.C. United, scoring seven goals and three assists.
