Chicago Fire striker Robert Earnshaw is targeting a Wales recall.
Earnshaw, 33, feels he still has plenty to offer Wales coach Chris Coleman.
"I looked at it and it was a case of, 'Do I feel like I can add to the squad, do I think I can score goals and give something to the team?'" Earnshaw told MLSsoccer.com.
"And if the answer was 'no', then I was going to retire. But the answer wasn't 'no', so for me I'm still available, I still want to play and for me the key thing was playing regularly, and if I'm scoring goals then I'm available because what I'm doing for my club can only be of benefit for international."
