Chicago Fire defender Danny Gargan has labelled Portland Timbers' home venue as a 'shoebox'.
The Fire were beaten 2-1 by the Timbers at JELD-WEN Field on the weekend with the visiting team full of complaints regarding the size of the playing area.
"They play in a shoebox that one team is used to playing on and one team is not," Gargan told MLSsoccer.com.
Reports suggest that the Fire players complained incessantly during the match and even took it further by stating publicly that they were not happy with the width or length of the playing surface.
