MLS club Chicago Fire have announced that they has waived midfielder Marko Maric.
The Croatian midfielder appeared in one match for the Fire before suffering an injury against the Portland Timbers April 14. Maric spent the remainder of the season on the Injured Reserve.
28-year old Maric joined the Fire from Greek club Skoda Xanthi in March after having a stint with French club Lille between 2007 and 2009.
