Chicago Fire have re-signed forward Calen Carr for his fifth season with the MLS club.

Details of the 27-year olds deal could not be announced due to league policy but a new contract has been confirmed.

Carr has appeared almost 70 times since joining the Fire in 2006 but has battled an ongoing knee problem for the past two seasons but it seems he may have overcome them with this news of a fresh contract.
