Chicago Fire have come from behind to defeat New England Revolution in the Eastern Conference semi-finals at Toyota Park.
The Revs took a 2-1 lead into the second leg but were overcome as the Fire produced a 2-0 result to go through to the final 3-2 on aggregate.
A goal each side of half-time to John Thorrington and Cuauhtemoc Blanco did the damage for the Fire and they will now meet Real Salt Lake in the Eastern Conference final.
It was the second year in a row the Fire had eliminated the Revs at Toyota Park in the first round of the play-offs.
The first leg of the final is on Saturday November 14 at Toyota Park.
