Chicago Fire have selected Kheli Dube with the eighth selection in Stage 2 of the MLS Re-Entry Draft.
The 28-year old Zimbabwean forward joins the Fire after four seasons with New England Revolution where he scored on 14 occasions and supplied eight assists in 72 appearances.
Dube, who represented Zimbabwe at U23 and U20 levels, was taken by the Revs with the eighth overall pick in the 2008 MLS Supplemental Draft but will now be plying his trade with Chicago after his option was not picked up by his former club following the 2011 campaign.
