Chesterfield to snap up Hibernian's Doyle

League Two club Chesterfield are on the verge of snapping up Hibernian striker Eoin Doyle.

The 25-year old is out of contract this summer and has reportedly turned down the offer of an extension to remain in Edinburgh.

Doyle played under Spireites boss Paul Cook at Sligo Rovers in Ireland and is being tipped to reunite with the former Wigan Athletic, Wolves and Burnley midfielder at Proact Stadium after reports suggested he had signed a pre-contract agreement.
