Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard believes big-spending Manchester City are capable of challenging for the title next season.

He said: "It's clear they are going to have a real crack at it. You can if you buy the right players.

"You look at the players and what they can do for you on the pitch and what they can do for you off the pitch. It's not about individuals coming in and acting like individuals, it's about putting them all together in a team and making it hum. It remains to be seen if City are capable of doing that but I'm expecting them to have a real good go."
