Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson remains interested in Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard. The England midfielder has a long-standing offer to join LA Galaxy when his contract with Chelsea finishes at the end of the season.
But England manager Roy Hodgson has urged Lampard to stay in Europe if he wants to be part of his World Cup squad in 2014.
The Daily Mail says Manchester United have already put down a marker and Arsenal have also registered a tentative interest if 34-year-old Lampard decides to leave Chelsea.
LA Galaxy have been putting pressure on him to make a decision, but the midfielder is determined to examine all his options before making a commitment.
