Chelsea's Cahill admits struggle to face Leicester over Muamba collapse

Chelsea defender Gary Cahill admits he struggled to make yesterday's FA Cup win over Leicester City after the collapse of close friend Fabrice Muamba.

The ex-Bolton defender, who only joined Chelsea in January, revealed a T-shirt saying, 'Pray 4 Muamba' after he opened the scoring in his club's 5-2 win to reach the FA Cup semi-finals. There was support for Muamba at all four of yesterday's games.

Cahill said: "My mind was in a different place today, but we went out there and did the job. It was nice to get the goal, but the game was a bit of a blur for me after having seen what happened at White Hart Lane and I just hope he is OK."

Chelsea stand-in manager Roberto Di Matteo said: "Gary was a bit shaken but had a very good game."
