Chelsea youngster Ethan Ampadu has admitted his admiration for former Blues star Cesc Fabregas.

Ampadu played first team football with Cesc before the Spaniard left for AS Monaco.

He told chelseafc.com: "Technically he was different class.

"He stood out with his long-range passing, but not just that; the pockets he would get in, and the space he would find with his brain was a joy to see every day.

"I believe when I made my debut against Nottingham Forest I came on for him too so that is a nice thing."
