If Chelsea fans were looking for a bright spot after another bleak weekend, they should look no further than Vitesse's 4-1 win over SC Cambuur in the Eredivisie.
Lewis Baker gave his loan side the perfect possible start when he converted from the spot after just three minutes, after fellow Blues youngster Nathan had earned a penalty.
Baker was at it again in the second half, earning a penalty of his own when he was fouled in the area by Cambuur's Kai Heerings. The 18-year-old missed the chance to score a brace however, blasting over the bar with Vitesse leading 2-1.
Another goal to Guram Kaisha sealed the result, before 17-year-old Chelsea prodigy Dominic Solanke put the icing on the cake when he netted his first professional goal in stoppage time.
