AS Roma are closing on a deal for Chelsea winger Mohamed Salah.
Tuttosport reports that Roma are set to sign the player on a loan deal until the end of the season after agreeing a £750,000 fee.
A possible sticking point is Chelsea's desire to insert a clause that will see the deal become permanent when he plays 10 games for the Serie A side.
"It's very likely he'll leave Chelsea on loan," his agent Oliver Kronenberg told Gazzetta dello Sport.
"I spoke to Roma, but the cost of the operation is very high. He is on big wages at the moment and would like to maintain them. We'll wait and see what happens."
