Chelsea winger Moreira: No Lyon regrets; I love training with Nkunku

Chelsea winger Diego Moreira insists he has no regrets over his loan with Lyon.

Moreira saw the loan cut short last month.

But he told O Jogo: “It was a very good experience, even if the situation at the club was not easy. I grew up and around me there were players of great quality and experience, with several titles.

"I learned a lot from Lacazette, who gave me a lot of advice. I talked a lot with Mama Baldé, especially because we share a link with Guinea. Then with Cherki, who is only 20 years old, but who has been an excellent professional for years.

"Tolisso, world champion, Clinton Mata. And Anthony (Lopes), of course, my neighbor. It was good, it allowed me to grow. I had teammates who helped me control this situation. The club was in bad shape and the pressure was greater. It forces you to experience things as they are. Nobody likes being in this position, it's difficult for everyone. When the team doesn't win, it's even more difficult for a 19-year-old player.

Chelsea have decided to bring me back, I am motivated, I have to give everything. You don't have to think twice about it. I am ready to live up to expectations. You can be at the top, then at the bottom, you have to keep a cool head. (…) There are great players, things will get better and better.

"I love Nkunku, he is fantastic, he has extraordinary quality, he already amazed me last summer, during the preseason."
