Chelsea are willing to use Ramires as a makeweight in their bid for Juventus ace Paul Pogba. The Daily Express says Arsenal joined Manchester City in the race for Pogba last week, with some reports suggesting that Arsene Wenger was lining up a £40m bid for the French midfielder.

But Chelsea believe they may hold the trump card in the form of Ramires, with Juve believed to be keen on the Brazilian international.

Pogba only signed a new deal in Turin earlier this year, but it is believed that Juve are open to letting the 21-year-old go for the right price.
