Chelsea are watching Borussia Moenchengladbach midfielder Patrick Herrmann.

The 20 year-old's progress at Gladbach has captured the attention of Europe's biggest clubs, including Real Madrid and Juventus.

Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas has also received glowing reports on Herrmann as his scouts keep tabs on Jeffrey Bruma's progress on-loan at Hamburg.

Gladbach officials have slapped a €12 million price-tag on the youngster after learning of the growing interest.
